Denver-based Frontier Airlines is expanding its schedule out of Cleveland (CLE) this fall, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The carrier on Monday announced new additions that will begin on Oct. 26. Among them, according to the Plain Dealer:
- Las Vegas service will become daily, instead of two flights per week
- Phoenix service will double to four flights a week
- Orlando service will be offered 12 times a week, instead of seven
- Fort Meyers, Fla., service will jump to six flights a week (and seven in December) instead of four
The airline says in its press release that one-way fares for travel after Oct. 26 will start at $32 to Orlando and $52 to Las Vegas (fine print permitting).

“We are beefing up seasonally strong winter markets. Demand to Las Vegas, Orlando and Fort Myers is particularly strong, so we’re matching capacity with that strength,” spokesperson Tyri Squyres is quoted as saying.
Some flights are being dropped during the cold winter months, namely service to Trenton, N.J., and Washington D.C., the story says.
