Final Verdict
So after evaluating all the cards, we can now take a look at which are the best cards for various applicants. Each card has its own merits, but of course, there is one clear winner. In the end, the best of the best cards will be listed among the top cards in the final verdict.
Best Airline Credit Card for non-frequent flyers
The United MileagePlus Explorer card comes with quite a few benefits. Among those, the best is priority boarding and first checked bag free. Also, the two United Club passes are a good benefit. With decent daily accrual and a good sign-up bonus, the card is a good fit for infrequent flyers.
Final Score: 33/50
Best Airline Credit Card:
The United MileagePlus Club Card is the best Chase card for United flyers. Also, for those who want to get the best benefits, the card comes with many perks. With Premier Access and United Club Membership, the card has great benefits for those who can pay the $450 annual fee. The main downside is the no sign-up bonus proper. If you are looking for the best Chase bank airline co-branded card, here it is.
Final Score: 35.5/50
Best Hotel Credit Card
The Ritz-Carlton Rewards Visa Infinite blows out its competition. With the same transfer partners as Marriott Rewards, the possibilities are very high. It comes with wonderful hotel benefits that transfer across Marriott, Starwood and Ritz-Carlton. Normal day accrual is great, and the sign-up bonus makes up for the annual fee. The added perks truly are incomparable among all Chase cards and give it only 10/10 in that category.
Final Score: 41/50
Best Proprietary Card
The best Chase proprietary card is the now-famous Chase Sapphire Reserve. Offering a sign-up bonus unseen in any other Chase card, the Sapphire Reserve can easily book you a first-class ticket on one of their transfer partners. The annual fee is high, but it can be offset by the $300 airline credit, and Priority Pass membership, and Visa Infinite benefits.
Final Score: 42/50
Best Chase Card
After tallying up the score, there are only two credit cards that rank very high. The winner, though, is the Chase Sapphire Reserve. With a grand score of 42/50, it was our highest ranked card. It comes with many benefits, and a reasonable annual fee when compared to the benefits.
Honorable Mention
Ritz-Carlton Rewards Visa Infinite.
