Does it say something that the only ontime flights, friendliest crew, and most comfortable coach experience I’ve had this summer were aboard US Airways Express (operated by Republic) flights between DCA and CLT? The equipment was the Embraer 170 series in both directions in case you were wondering.
I wonder how many flight attendants and passengers have thought about popping the slide, grabbing a couple of beers, and escaping from the modern joys of travel?
After my 2 trans-Atlantic connecting experiences this summer, I’m beginning to wonder if I shouldn’t work on enhancing my Mileage Plus hoard and take nonstops from Dulles from now on. I don’t know if I can tolerate the connecting experience for important trips, loyalty to AAdvantage or not.
