The World’s Largest Cruise Ship Begins Construction

Wait, what? Yes, there is a ship larger than Oasis of the Seas or Allure of the Seas. Royal Caribbean’s yet to be named Oasis Class sister just began construction at STX France, and at 227,000 gross registered tons, she’s just a tiny bit larger than Allure of the Seas, the current title holder of world’s largest cruise ship. I reviewed our 2 weeks aboard Allure of the Seas here. I have no doubt her new sister will be every bit as “shockingly awesome” and maybe just a little bit more.

I have heard more rumors and innuendo about the Oasis Class ships than any other. Do not let the size of these ships scare you away!! I can’t say enough good things about the Royal Caribbean cruising experience aboard Allure of the Seas. I’m certain the newest ship in the class will meet and exceed my already lofty expectations. Oasis/Allure questions? Click on “Contact Me” above and ask away. I can’t wait to sail aboard the newest vessel in the Oasis Class.
