The Club MSY at New Orleans International airport

I had an early morning flight out of Louis Armstrong airport in New Orleans and having stopped at Cafe Du Mond for beignets I thought – I wonder if there is a lounge available.

The Priority Pass app showed that there is The Club MSY available in Concourse A.

Cafe Du Mond is opposite the entrance to the B gates wing and so I started walking towards A.

Suddenly on the right there it was. The Club MSY no more than 100 meters from the B gates.

I took the elevator up to the next floor and the lovely lady at the desk checked my Priority Pass card and boarding pass and in I went.

The seating areas:

My first impression was how calm and quiet the space was. There is a glass wall on the right through which you can look down on the walkway you were just on.

Then there is a long desk against the glass with space to sit and plugs for your devices.

On the left is the seating area which has a variety of different seat and table options.

In the far corner you can see a black entrance. This is the quiet area where there are booths and comfy chairs for a quieter time.

The bar:

There is a rather large bar which has many stools available. It was rather popular that morning, even though it was only 6am.

The food area:

Firstly the great coffee machines were present and I had my requisite cappuccino. Various teas were also at hand.

A small collection of juices was well presented.

On the cereal side there was a nice collection of options, as well as fruit and trail mix. Muesli and yoghurt with toppings were also provided.

The hot food was adequate. Cheese and egg omelette and parmesan hash browns were it.

Next to it is the bowl of porridge which I had and enjoyed.

On the baked goods side were croissants, danishes and muffins.

This is a wider view of the whole area. It was nicely set out and all worked well.

There is also this sweet table with the departures board in a prominent position.

Conclusion:

One of the more pleasant Priority Pass lounges I have been in. It was a quiet, relaxing place with almost the right amount of items available. Look it up when you are in New Orleans, it is very easy to access if you are going to concourses A or B.
