According to the latest Air Travel Consumer Report from the Department of Transporation, there were actually fewer delays this summer than last! I must be the unluckiest s.o.b. in America as 6 of 12 of my most recent flights were late, some very late.
Oh well…I’m glad to hear that overall airlines and their employees have managed to so far muddle through the busiest summer on record. I expect that baggage performance deteriorated in August as a result of the new security restrictions. We’ll see when those numbers come out next month.
