Background:
There’s a new Conrad Fort Lauderdale coming soon. I’ve been really excited for this hotel to open as it looks really nice and offers another luxury option on Fort Lauderdale Beach! According to the Hilton website, the hotel isn’t accepting reservations until December 21st.
$250 Junior Suite?
Yes! I was searching on the website and I used the flexible date calendar. I discovered that on the first day you can book online, the Ocean View Junior Suite is only $250! It’s weird that the days after are all $430 a night! I guess they really want you to try the 21st of December. The junior suite is a nice 650 sqft!
What’s even more interesting is that for the night of December 21st, the smaller 480 sqft studio is $7 more than the Ocean View Junior Suite and only has an intracoastal view. I looked at other dates and noticed that the junior suite was always cheaper than the intracoastal view studio. Not sure if that is supposed to be the case.
I looked at rates for March, and they are all $391 a night, so the $250 is definitely an outlier.
The Verdict:
$250 isn’t bad to try out this new hotel in a junior suite with an ocean view! 🙂 But there is still a resort fee sadly of $35 a night.

The Conrad, like all the hotels in the just ok mid-beach area, is across the highway from the beach.
The Marriott Harbor Beach remains the best hotel directly on the beach. While it’s rates can be as high as these, if you can get the government rate it’s a huge discount: $100 summer/ $200 winter.
The best deal in FLL is the luxury 4-star Riverside Hotel downtown on Las Olas. Routinely on Hotwire for sub-$100. $5 uber to the beach but in the middle of all the swanky cafes and shops. Really more a 4.5 star.
