I’m going to be honest, one of the features of Quantum that never really “did it” for me was the North Star. I thought the idea of some kind of mechanical arm bobbing up and down on top of an elegantly designed ship was just too much. Something that detracted from the aesthetics of the ship. Every time I read one of your Quantum posts, I go straight to the RC site and look at dates. Haven’t pulled the trigger yet (timing is an issue), but I certainly will.
North Star has always interested me, but the bumper cars hold no interest at all. Interestingly, I was talking to a co-worker (and fellow cruiser) about the Quantum and she is thrilled about the bumper cars. Of course, she has younger children.
I’m really looking forward to Quantum. 🙂
