I forgot that there is a Plaza Premium Lounge in DFW airport because I always use the Capital One Lounge in Terminal D when I fly.
This week I got to try it. The lounge is in Terminal E near gate 31.
It is a small lounge, only about 30 chairs at tables and 4 seats at the bar.
When I checked in at the desk I spoke to Noriko. She was an absolute delight and was gracious and very helpful. The other 2 ladies were also lovely and helpful, all in all a very nice service experience.
This was the sign showing costs for access.
They have a small setup with some breakfast items. There was scrambled eggs, bacon, turkey sausage, fried potatoes, boiled eggs and biscuits.
I had a biscuit with butter and strawberry jam which made it a scone, lovely with my tea.
There was also soft and creamy yoghurt, fruit, fruit juices, coffee, tea and drinks at the bar.
This is the serving counter and bar counter. Coffee is freely available, tea is behind the counter. Quite a few drinks are available at the bar too.
That is about all I can say about this lounge. There are no windows so no view of the runways. There are no restrooms available.
It is a small but very useful spot available for those of you who need a break. They do have their own wifi code.
The service was wonderful, Noriko and the ladies are stars.
No comparison at all to the bigger lounges but nice to have it available.
