I stayed at the Omni Resorts Montelucia in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is one of many elegant resort hotels in the Scottsdale area that are very popular.

This hotel has a distinctive style and magnificent gardens. I will show you around the resort and the gardens.

There are different hallways and entrances and pathways and gardens all over the resort.

Rather lovely Christmas decorations ( this was from last year).

These are exquisite light fittings.

Another very elegant fountain leading to another tower and an arch way to the building.

The pool complex with fountains, palm trees and many seating areas. It was winter when we were there so just too cool for swimming !

This is another view of that lawn area but this picture shows the Camelback mountain which is right behind the resort.

These pathways lead to some of the double story accommodation areas.

These villas each have a patio and walk right out onto the garden. This was one of my favorite areas.

Camelback Mountain:

If you walk out of the front entrance and go around the resort you will find Camelback mountain which is available to climb on. This piece of art was on the corner as we were walking around.

There are many amazing views of the mountain once you are on it.

There are some lovely spots for looking at the mountain, interesting shapes and nature. I see a face with a big nose in the rocks.

These are some of the views of the surrounding suburbs. There is even a view of the downtown buildings.

The mountain is a fascinating place, you can spend hours climbing all over it.
