Background:
I recently did a one night road trip to Vegas with my dad in order to use our $100 Celebration Dinners from Caesars Rewards Diamond, as well as status matching from Caesars Rewards to M life Gold and Wynn Rewards Platinum. In this post, I’ll go over the program’s I matched to and how the process was for both M life and Wynn Rewards.
First, How I Got Caesars Diamond:
I obtained Caesars Diamond when I linked my Wyndham Diamond to Caesars over two years ago. Previously, Wyndham Rewards had status matches to its Diamond level, and I used my Hilton Diamond to obtain that. The benefit years from Caesars and Wyndham are mismatched, so one could match from one to the other each year, and with COVID statuses were extended.
My favorite perks of Caesars Diamond include:
- Free show tickets (at the moment, you can get High Roller Tickets or REAL BODIES at Bally’s)
- $100 annual celebration dinner
- Waived Resort Fees
- Free Parking
- Two free nights at Caesars Palace Dubai
Now, Wyndham isn’t offering status matches at this time, but those who have Caesars Diamond, feel free to match to the other programs below!
M life Rewards Gold:
Currently until January 31, 2022, M life Rewards is offering a Tier Match Promotion. With Caesars Diamond, you can be matched to M life Gold. M life is the rewards program for all the MGM Resorts in Las Vegas from Mandalay Bay, to MGM Grand and Bellagio to name a few.
Some perks of M life Gold include:
- Complimentary Self and Valet Parking
- Fine Dining Priority Reservations
- Dedicated Buffet Line
- Room Upgrade (subject to availability at check-in, excludes suites)
- Priority Hotel Check-in Line at the Front Desk
But most importantly (to me, at least), you get Hyatt Explorist status as Hyatt and MGM have a partnership. With Hyatt Explorist you get:
- Upgraded Room excluding Suites and Rooms with Club lounge access
- 2 PM Late Checkout
- 20% Bonus on eligible purchases
- 72 Hour Guaranteed Availability
I visited the M life rewards desk at Aria, showed my Caesars Diamond card with ID, and was quickly matched to M life Gold. There used to be a match offered if you were willing to go to Borgota in Atlantic City, but I’m happy there’s a match in Vegas now.
Wynn Rewards:
This one is fun! Wynn Rewards is currently offering a tier match only until the end of the month, August 31st, 2021. Tier Matches will be valid from the date of Tier Match through December 31, 2022. I’ve never seen a tier match for Wynn before.
I visited the Wynn Rewards desk at Encore. There was no line, but the match actually took a few minutes. The representative even had to hand write down my Caesars rewards number on a piece of paper.
Caesars Diamond matches you to Wynn Rewards Platinum, and on your birthday month you’ll get:
- $100 spa credit
- $150 birthday dinner credit
That’s pretty cool! I have my eyes on SW Steakhouse or Wing Lei.
Also you can reserve Wynn Master Classes for two. I see on the website there are only a few but they range from Master Dumpling Classes, Cocktail classes or even small plates classes.
The Verdict:
Now I have Caesars Diamond, M life Gold and Wynn Platinum. I’m sure there are other statuses to match to in Vegas, but I’m excited for my birthday dinner at Wynn later this year.

Bummer that you have to actually go to their rewards desk in person to apply for the status match … versus doing it online like other elite status matches. I assume that elite programs based on casino hotels, that they want you there in person, to heighten the chance you’ll actually gamble in their casino … instead of doing a runaround to use their status match to just match later to Hyatt. Makes sense … or dollars to them.
Yep, they definitely want you to gamble while you’re there. Thanks for reading!
you can also status match (unadvertised) to Resorts World (The Icon, minimal benefits) and Circa (Legend, highest tier)
