Through 11:59PM MT December 7, 2012, you can purchase US Airways Dividend Miles and receive a 100 percent bonus on your purchase. US Airways will sell you miles in 1,000 mile increments, up to 50,000 miles. Buy 50,000 miles and receive a 50,000 mile bonus. As always, I don’t recommend buying miles just for sake of buying them, but if you have an award in mind, this can be an acceptable way to top off your account. US Airways extended the offer from November 30, 2012 until December 7, 2012, so if you do have an award in mind and need to top off your account, go for it.

I’d like to buy the points, but more importantly how can I give them to my kids when we travel?
David,
It is possible to “gift” miles but this usually comes with fees attached. It’s best to just book their seats with you when you are traveling.
