Kidding! 100,000 AAdvantage Miles is taunting me in ways I’m not used to being taunted. But before we get to that, let’s look at the 80’s themed Delta Air Lines safety video that’s gotten a bit of attention today.
OK, that pretty much rocks and all, but let’s talk about something else.
I first caught this on View From the Wing today, but Citi is out with a 100,000 mile bonus AAdvantage miles offer if you apply for their Citi Executive® / AAdvantage® World EliteTM MasterCard® that I just can’t ignore.
To say this offer is tempting me would be a mild understatement. Yes, I fly Delta, and live in Atlanta, but 100,000 AAdvantage miles for $10,000 in spend in 3 months is an attractive offer, even with a $450 annual fee. If I routinely flew American, I would have applied before I even wrote this post. If you are an AA flyer, even a part-time AA flyer, please think about this one. Click here to head straight to Citi’s website to apply. Maybe I’m wrong, but this might not last forever.

I called and they didn’t see an application, so I tried applying again, but this time used one of the referral codes I found on a blog and it went through. So it might be a browser issue?
I think it may already be gone — I just tried to apply and got a “generalErrorJSE2.do” message. Not sure if I should keep trying to submit the application?
Catherine,
If the landing page is still working, it should be good. It’s entirely possible that this has proven so popular that the website might be struggling. I’d consider calling Citi to see if your application actually went through.
