I’ve become very cognizant of people’s privacy when taking onboard photos due to the EU law that requires it. I once had a lounge attendant get on my case when taking a photo of the front desk at the entrance (she was in the picture).

I’ll be curious to see how this is enforced. I take a decent number of onboard photos, depending on the flight, and whether I’m reviewing it.

While there are some niche guest who will suffer greatly from these changes, they are likely positive for 95%+ of Hyatt’s guests. The biggest winners will be those who spend upwards of half the year in Hyatt hotels.
