These are some great pointers. My own kids (generally) know the drill, which makes travel a breeze. What I mostly skipped was the young (<6yo) stage, though.

A great trick for finding Delta partner award availability – Frequent Miler

Given how badly Delta obscures what inventory is available to partners, this is a great way to find seats.

Amex Adds Qatar as New Travel Partner – Miles to Memories

Given Qatar uses Avios like other Amex partners, this isn’t exactly a huge improvement. It just makes it easier to obtain Qatar Avios, as you don’t have to do two transfers.
