I was just under an hour north of Atlanta so I stayed at the Fairfield Inn on Mall of Georgia Boulevard. There is a Courtyard and a Country Inn and Suites right next to the Fairfield, a nice collection to choose from if you need accommodation. There are many places to eat and things to do and of course, the Mall of Georgia is just across the main road.

Checking in:
Checked in at the front desk and immediately saw that there was a small shop off to the side. Toiletries, water, frozen goods, quite a useful collection.

Just off to the side is the client computer where you can look up trips and stuff and print tickets, etc.

This is a view of the lobby area looking towards the breakfast area. More on that later.

A pleasant pool with tables and chairs is outside, and there is a small but efficient gym available too.

My room:
Here is a wider shot of the room with connected lounge area. A nice space with couch and desk.

This is the view out front from my room, nothing to look at except the sun rise.

A neat bed with 2 side tables. 4 pillows seems like more than enough.

The couch, which can also fold out, was comfy and the desk and chair were both on wheels.

A very nice lamp with plugs was on the side table which contained various religious books. The tv is rather small, no 55 inch screen here, and was on a chest with drawers for storing items and clothes.

Very nice for travelers that the room has a microwave and a fridge. Iron, ironing board and hangars with laundry list available. There is also a small coffee maker and an ice bucket with silly little plastic cups.

The bathroom:
Nicely sized counter with wipes, soap, tissues and hair dryer. More than enough space for all my stuff too.

The shower is a standard single head with no attachments. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are supplied by Alice + Co botanicals. All 3 were lavender and eucalyptus scent.

The breakfast:
This display shows the origin of the Fairfield name. J. Willard Marriott had a good eye and started a really great brand.

A nicely comprehensive breakfast is available.
Here is milk, cereal, oats with various toppings like craisins, pecans, sunflower seeds, coconut flakes and chocolate chips.

Then the baked goods section with various items including a toaster, bagels, muffins, fruit juice, fruit and jams.

A full waffle section with nice toppings and syrup, and also bacon and eggs.

A full coffee and tea station is also provided with various types of milk as well as many tea bags.

The chairs look like they have been around a while. Not dirty, just worn out.

Overall a pleasant stay. The breakfast at hotels like this is invariably good with oats, waffles, bacon, muffins and many other items you can choose from.
The price of rooms this month is between $101 and $143 a night, so really good value.
Enjoy this or any other Fairfield Inn in the Marriott brand.
