Here is an update on the ongoing construction at DFW airport. These pictures are from 14 December.
I fly again every week starting from 7 January so I will be able to give a further regular updates.
As you know they are building Terminal F, updating (adding gates) to Terminals C and A, rebuilding the garage at Terminal C and updating the roadways.
Starting with Terminal C garage:
I have just one pic today.
This shows the cranes that are busy with the new garage. It is an ongoing process but we should see dramatic updates in 2026.

Terminal C gate expansion:
Here is a view of updates to Terminal C from the inter-terminal train stopped at Terminal E. Looks almost usable.

Here is picture from inside the terminal. They are doing great with the construction. The second picture shows 3 of the new gate bridges installed. Looking better all the time.

This view is from the taxi way, the view that pilots will get when they approach the terminal.
Terminal A expansion:
We took off to the north so I got a great view of the expansion at Terminal A.
Here you can see that they are a couple of months behind Terminal C but the whole body is complete and they have nearly installed all the windows already.
There were 4 gates in that space and it will now have 9 gates, an increase of 5.
At the top right of the picture you can see the two bridges that pass over the 4 roadways and the 2 railway lines. These allow planes to move from the west to the east side of the airport and vice versa.

Terminal F:
I have to believe Terminal F will take the longest of the 3 terminals to complete purely because they still have to create access points and roads to this new terminal.
This first picture is the view from inside Terminal D. This is the side that Qantas and Qatar depart from.

Here you can see that they have not put in most windows yet but the full terminal building is in place. It was built at the edge of the runway off to the left and moved into place in the dead of the night a few months ago, a magnificent and efficient achievement.

Here are 3 further pictures showing the whole building. Doesn’t look very busy today but perhaps they were working on the front side of the building.

This was just a quick update on the construction at DFW airport. I will post further updates throughout 2026.
