Delta Announces 2016 MQM Rollover Date

One thing I like about Delta’s Medallion status is SkyMiles rollover MQMs. Basically, if you exceed your required MQMs for the level of elite status you attain, Delta will roll that amount over to the next year. This can give you a good head start on status for the next year….and we all know I’m going to need that!

Per “SkyMilesTeam” on FlyerTalk, rollover MQMs from 2015 will begin posting during the week of January 11, 2016. It could take 1 to 2 weeks for your rollover MQMs to post. This is the way things usually work, but it always generates a bit of angst and questions about when rollover MQMs post.

How many MQMs will you rollover this year?

I have Diamond for 2016 and 40 MQMs toward DIamond again. I should make Diamond this year even though I have booked a number of flights already with American

Mark

After taking out the 125,000 for Diamond, I will have a MQM balance of 144,000.

I had enough to be platinum and quite close to be a diamond but did not have the spending size of things so I am just a gold 🙁

Gene

More importantly, will there be a rollover next year?
