WASHINGTON D.C. – I am happy to report that Travel Update’s first-ever Reader Meet-Up at the city’s newest and largest hotel – the upscale Marriott Marquis – on Wednesday night was a resounding success.
The group included long-time readers such as hoteliers and frequent traveler points hackers, as well as media friends. We filled up the private corner of the hotel’s handsome, clubby looking Dignitary cocktail salon and drank (I kid you not) Barb-tinis in Champagne glasses.
