Cathay Pacific have been flying to Dublin for a year and to celebrate, they are having a flash sale. It’s not always about business class here on Travel Update and this sale is in economy class.

Flights are operated by the new Airbus A350-900, which promises a very comfortable ride. Frequent flyers in a oneworld alliance programme will earn points and status credits as well.

Cathay Pacific Economy Class Flash Sale

People who would like to travel to Hong Kong are getting a pretty decent deal in this sale. Flights to Hong Kong are priced at just €399 return, which is an excellent price.

You can book this deal for four days only, through to 3 June 2019. This means you might want to put your long weekend partying on hold for a moment to avail of the fare.

Travel dates are between 1 June and 27 June 2019, and between 10 August and 11 December 2019. It’s called the Dublin Anniversary Sale and you can click here for more information.

The oneworld alliance carrier operates non-stop between Dublin and Hong Kong. CX306 departs at 11:55, arriving in Hong Kong at 07:00 the next day after a 12 hour and 5 minute journey. Returns depart Hong Kong at 00:45, landing in Dublin at 06:45.

Overall Thoughts

Who doesn’t like a sale? I know I always enjoy saving some money on flights. In this instance, it’s a cheap way to get to South East Asia for a city break in one of the world’s most interesting cities.

Cathay Pacific economy class is also quite a competitive product, with comfortable seating, decent food and excellent service. It’s certainly one of the classiest ways from Europe to Asia.

What do you think of this sale? Is it something you would take advantage of? Have you flown Cathay Pacific economy class before? Thanks for reading and if you have any comments or questions, please leave them below.
