Like most airlines, British Airways has a mobile phone application to streamline people’s experience. There are various app backgrounds which denote which level you are in the Executive Club.
There is an amusing glitch at the moment, where Executive Club members can see all the various app backgrounds and Executive Club cards. Clearly this is there for IT testing, but for those of us fascinated by such things, it’s fun to see.
British Airways App Backgrounds
Let’s start with the ones that most people don’t see. Few people see the black Premier card, as this is the invitation only level in the programme.
What About The Rest?
No less thought has been put into the app backgrounds and cards for the lower levels. Bronze members get a building and some cute little aeroplanes.
Overall Thoughts
Clearly quite a bit of thought has gone into the app backgrounds. The feel is very on brand, which is not surprising as I am sure quite a lot of research and time went into the designs.
Since I’ll likely never be invited to be a Premier member, nor will I fly enough to make Gold Guest list, it is interesting to see those for once. All the rest I have seen as I’ve been at those levels at one time or another.

Thx for the post , while how are you trigger that glitch? Lol interested to know
I think it’s been corrected now – however in the images, there’s an eye symbol beside My Account. That is how you could access the test options 🙂
