As per Doctor of Credit, reader reports of amex closing accounts are coming in. Apparently, these account closures are for authorized users who accounts have been inactive. What’s unique here is that, Amex is sending emails to customers about closing authorized user accounts due to inactivity even when the primary account is active. This may be an issue for people who may have opened up multiple authorized user accounts to generate more points via authorized user bonuses.

This offer is valid till the end of the year, expiring on December 31, 2024.

Moreover, you can also transfer over Amex points to JetBlue with an extra 25% bonus. Another bonus that’s been running for a while is the 35% bonus to Marriott Bonvoy.
