American Express is currently running some amazing limited time offers on many of their cards, with up to 150,000 points on offer. I saw these offers pop up via Amex’s refer-a-friend links and publicly available offers as well. Some of the biggest bonuses show up for the Amex Platinum and the Amex Gold card. However, these offers may not show up right away. If the offers don’t show up, you can try a couple of things. Firstly, clear your cookies and start afresh in a new browser. Secondly, you can try incognito or private browsing mode.

Hilton Honors Business Card

Interestingly, we’re seeing an elevated offer on the Business version of the co-branded Hilton credit cards from Amex. However, this offer is pretty lucrative if you can meet the minimum spend.

You’ll earn a welcome bonus of 130,000 Hilton Honors points after you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months of card membership. Moreover, you can also earn one free night at any qualifying Hilton property after you spend $10,000 in the first 6 months of card membership.

This offer is fantastic for many reasons. Unlike other hotel brands, the free night certificate is uncapped. What it means is that you can book a night as long as a standard room is available at a qualifying property. In the past, I’ve used these certificates to great effect by booking high end properties like Conrad Maldives, Waldorf Astoria Maui and Conrad Koh Samui.

THE PUNDIT’S MANTRA

Overall, it’s a pleasant surprise that the Amex Gold and Platinum offers have stuck around longer than expected. Moreover, if you’re looking to save on annual fees, you can always opt for the offers with the Green card and the Everyday preferred card.

As someone who frequently stays at Hilton properties, I’m tempted to go for the offer on the Hilton Business card. If you stay at Marriott properties, then you can also go for the co-branded Marriott credit card offers, which are currently offering up to 150,000 Marriott Bonvoy points.

  1. Ashish, this is offering 100,000 points as a bonus after spending $6,000 in six months. Maybe the other 50,000 is your referral bonus?
