I recently completed a 4-night cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas. The 4-night itinerary includes stops at Coco Cay, and Nassau, along with a day at sea. I have a full review of the cruise in progress, but it is taking longer than usual to complete because I am including video and scans of each day’s Cruise Compass (the onboard newsletter) as part of my review. In the meantime, I wanted to offer a few thoughts and photos just in case you are considering a cruise on this ship soon.
Overall, the ship is beautiful, and I can confidently say that Enchantment of the Seas represents a major upgrade in sailing accommodations in the short 3/4 night cruise market. The ship was refreshed last year, and the work shows. The interior of the ship is beautiful and well maintained right down to fresh carpets. Additional dining venues like Chops Grille ($30 per person seating fee) and Park Cafe (complimentary) add options for your enjoyment. Enchantment also features what just might be my favorite pool deck in the Royal Caribbean fleet (aside from Oasis and Allure). No Flowrider on Enchantment, but she does have what I believe to be the only bungee trampolines in the fleet. 🙂

Thanks for your great review. I haven’t been on a RCCL cruise in almost a decade so I will definitely have to try RCCL again. I agree with another comment that it is nice to see something other than Monarch or Majesty doing some of these 3/4 night cruises.

Do you know if RC or other cruise lines will match Elite from Princess.
@Karung, cruise lines do not generally match status like airlines do.

Not a problem, Mr. Cool. It’s not for everyone. I do have to ask though, have you ever tried a cruise?
She is a great ship. Sailed on her to Bermuda with my girlfriend in 2011 and was impressed for a small ship it was pretty great, I’m sure helped immensely by the stretch. As a Maryland resident I was sad to see her leave Baltimore but glad that the 3/4 night cruises will be on a WAY better ship than Monarch and Majesty…now they just need to replace the other one. Look forward to taking a 3/4 nighter sometime.
