75,000 Bonus Delta SkyMiles Offer Ending Soon

If you’re looking to sign up for a co-branded Delta SkyMiles credit card, you only have a few days left in order to get an offer for elevated bonuses. If you sign-up through a refer-a-friend link, you can earn these sign-up bonuses as long as Amex approves you before Jan 29, 2020. Cardmembers who are approved by January 30 will also pay less in annual fees as the annual fees on these cards are going up. Amex recently refreshed their entire portfolio of co-branded Delta credit cards.

DELTA SKYMILES OFFER (CO-BRANDED)

These sign-up bonuses with extended expiration dates show up when you access Delta offers through a refer-a-friend link.

SELF REFERRAL OFFER

The most recent data points center around the clawing back of referral points. Amex has been pretty generous in allowing you to cross-refer. It means that you can refer a friend to a Hilton Honors card even if you have an Amex Gold card. You’ll get Membership Rewards points once your friend is approved. Doctor Of Credit and Miles to Memories have already reported extensively about Amex clawing back bonuses from people who’ve referred themselves. This seems pretty logical on Amex’s part. A referral program in its essence means that you need to refer other people to a particular product.

Below is the full list of Delta co-branded offers available, with offer expiration dates until the end of January.

The Pundit’s Mantra

Contrary to my post earlier during the month, I wasn’t able to find elevated bonuses for the business versions of these cards via incognito or referral mode. If you’re looking to lock in some Delta SkyMiles, it’s a great time to get the elevated sign-up bonuses on the personal credit cards. If Amex approves you before January 30, you’ll not only get the reduced annual fee but also get the elevated welcome bonus.
