Review: United Club at LAX

United Club at LAX

I had some United One Day Passes so my friends and I headed to the United Club at LAX before our Spirit Airlines Flight to Denver. The United Club at LAX is one of the largest United Club’s at 20,000 square feet. It only opened a year ago and it is really modern and stylish. Our Spirit flight was departing at Terminal 5, so we had to allow 15/20 minutes to get to Terminal 5 from 7, as the lounge is located at Terminal 7, adjacent to gate 71A.

You enter, check in at one of the three desks and the escalators whisk you away to the lounge. The lounge is one floor up, on top of the terminal. Once you get off the escalators there’s a huge seating area with hightops and plenty of chairs. Sadly, there are no shower rooms at this lounge.

Going further into the lounge, there is a pretty large buffet spread and a lots of seats next to the bar.

There is also an outdoor terrace, super cool! The bar looked cool but I couldn’t try anything obviously, under 21 problems. 🙂

My favorite place to lounge was at the back corner of the lounge with nice spinning chairs! It was also very close to the food 🙂

The Wi-Fi was pretty good, and there were lots of places to charge my devices. The high-top table across from spinning chair had an array of power outlets and USB ports.

Where I lounged!

The food spread was pretty good! Maybe not compared to an international lounge, but in comparison to the Admirals Clubs and Delta Sky Clubs I’ve been to, the selections were very nice.

The Chili Crab was DELICIOUS. My favorite food selection from the whole lounge! The Singapore Street Noodles were cold, and just meh. I liked the fresh Roti flatbread, and the presentation was very nice!

The Verdict:

The United Club at LAX is a really nice lounge to relax at before a flight! The food selection is pretty good, and the large space makes for a comfortable retreat.

Happy travels,
