One of the great things about American Express cards is that every now and then, you get some really sweet deals via Amex offers, In certain cases, you can earn extra Membership Rewards points, while in others, you can get some sweet discounts with their partner brands. American Express is currently targeting people with different types of offers. With these Amex Offers, you can save up to $250 on your next flight booking.

Flight Discounts with New Amex Offers

With these targeted offers, you will see varied deals with different airlines. For example, I’m seeing an offer for spend on AmexTravel.com but the deal only works with Air France flights. With this offer, I’ll earn a statement credit of $250, when I spend $1,400 or more with AmexTravel.com to purchase an Air France flight.

This offer expires on January 31, 2026. You only need to make the purchase before this date. Your travel  date can be after January 31, 2026.

Earn a one-time $250 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $1,400 in one or more purchases on Air France flights purchased directly through Amex Travel by 1/31/2026. See terms.

Bear in mind that you must purchase your ticket via Amex Travel and fly Air France. If you book directly with Air France, you will not receive the credit. Your travel must originate in the US and your fare must be charged in US Dollars in order to qualify for this offer.

Qualifying Purchases

Offer valid on Air France flights purchased directly through American Express Travel®, online only at US website AmexTravel.com, or the Amex Travel App™. Flight must originate in US and be charged in USD to qualify. Air France flights purchased directly with Air France are excluded. Excludes all other types of American Express Travel bookings or purchases not listed as eligible. The Offer is only valid for bookings paid for by 1/31/2026, however the travel can occur after the end date for the Offer, provided that the booking was paid for within the applicable Offer period.

The Pundit’s Mantra

Since these offers are highly targeted, you may not see the some offer as others. For example, some data points suggest that Amex is targeting other people with similar offers for purchases on AmexTravel.com, but for travel on Lufthansa instead of Air France.

If you’re looking to book a flight very soon with one of these airlines, then it never hurts to check your Amex Offers tab once you log into your Amex account. Who knows, your targeted offer might just be the deal you’re looking for and help you save $250 on your next flight booking.
