Thailand continues to be one of my favorite travel destinations around Asia. During my last trip, I visited Koh Samui and stayed at a fantastic Hilton property, the Conrad Koh Samui. For instance, the breathtaking views from our Villa still flash fondly in front of my eyes, even after four years.
Mandatory Requirements
However, travelers must comply with Covid-19 testing restrictions. Firstly, travelers must provide a negative Covid-19 test result 72 hours before their flight. Secondly, they must also comply with mandatory quarantine requirements upon arrival. In addition, travelers must also undergo three Covid-19 tests while in quarantine.
On one hand, many travelers will greatly welcome this news it’s technically an easing up of travel restrictions. On the other hand, travelers must comply with stringent requirements before and after arrival. For many folks, this still may be a major barrier before they plan travel.

Thai immigration Australia is still demanding that a visa is required to enter Thailand. They don’t seem to be up to date, with what CCSA in Thailand has announced about 56 countries being able to enter visa exempt.
A ten day quarantine is still a major hurdle. I’m toying with the idea,
but it’s unlikely I’ll go until it reduced to 7 days at most.
I hear you. Always a big sword hanging over your head if you’re planning travel and are uncertain about quarantine/testing etc. Also, the situation is so fluid that restrictions can change pretty quickly, for better or worse.
