….to Dayton. Well, Columbus actually, aboard Southwest and then drive to Dayton. I’ve been through one of the longer travel dry spells that I’ve ever suffered, and I’m oddly excited about the whole thing. Of course, it will be nice to see family, but just the idea of heading out to the airport and getting on a plane out of town is enticing. A friend suggested I review the whole Southwest experience so that’s exactly what I’m going to do. This should stack up nicely against all the Lufthansa first class lounge reviews, don’t ya’ think? 😀

@WT2,
Awesome!!! Can’t wait for Italy this fall! It will be coolish temperature wise, but we don’t really care. The wine will keep us warm. 🙂
I’m on an odd dry spell too! but finally, leave today for Italia! Whew, it seemed like this day would never get here.
@Dunkers: DL now has two daily flights from LGA to DAY, one in the morning and one in the evening. No idea what the price points are but it’s a direct flight on an E145.
cool, my family’s in dayton too! have had a lot of trouble finding reasonable flights back though (from nyc). curious about the SW to dayton/cmh, but it’s also one stop from nyc. let us know how it goes, and any other tips on flying to DAY are appreciated!
