I just noticed on Southwest Airlines’ Facebook page that they are now officially part of the TSA PreCheck program. That’s great news for Southwest flyers! Makes them a viable alternative for me in Atlanta when flying Southwest makes sense too. I’ve posted before that I do not have anything against Southwest, and value their service for certain flights. But as long as they were not part of PreCheck, I avoided them at all costs. Now, I won’t have to do that. Thank you Southwest for making this happen.

Don’t you worry that the lines for PreCheck will become exponentially longer? I am not sure if there are plans on allowing A-list to have PreCheck access.
It is a concern, and already an issue in Atlanta during certain peak periods.
