Background

Recently, Capital One opened the Landing at LGA Terminal B, marking the second opening of the Landing concept, with the first in Washington, D.C. (DCA). The Capital One Landing at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) opened on February 18, 2026, and offers a special dining-focused lounge experience designed in tandem with the José Andrés Group.

Before a JetBlue flight, I was able to try out the new lounge. I went in with some high expectations, as blog sites highlighted the restaurant’s quality food. Did it meet my expectations? Well, you’ll have to read below to find out.

The Capital One Landing at LaGuardia (LGA) Space

I made a reservation, so a hostess took me to my table, but you are also able to walk in. You are able to prebook a reservation two months in advance in the Capital One App, choosing a specific time, date, and party size.

The lounge is essentially divided into two similar sections, with plenty of seating options in dining-style tables and bar seating with power outlets at every seat.

As you enter, you’ll pass a bar with some buffet-style offerings from cold cuts like hams and salad to desserts that include flan and cheesecake. From here, you can order what you see at the counter and bring it back with you.

Around this bar, there is seating, as well as a self-service tea/coffee station, and some cans of soda & boxed water for the go. Loved the box of water to bring on my flight!

As you head deeper into the space, there is more seating, and an identical buffet area along the back, along with another self-service tea/coffee station.

The Restaurant Style Experience

The star of the space is the food! While you can get stuffed from the buffet offerings, each table will have a QR code that lets you view and order tapas and drinks to your table.

For the Lunch/Dinner Menu during my visit, they had:

  • Bikini de queso- Grilled cheese sandwich (vegetarian)
  • Bikini mixto- Grilled ham and Swiss cheese sandwich
  • Carne asada con mojo verde- Grilled hanger steak with mojo verde sauce
  • Croquetas- Chicken-bechamel fritters
  • Gambas al ajillo- Red shrimp confited with extra virgin olive oil, garlic
  • Lentejas- Mom’s lentil soup (vegan)
  • Patatas bravas- Fried potatoes, spicy tomato sauce, garlic aioli
  • Piquillos confitados- Roasted piquillo pepper confit
  • Taco de chilorio- Beef chilorio stew, white onion, cilantro, white corn
  • Tofu and mushroom donburi- Tofu and mushroom, steamed rice, green onion, avocado
  • Pincho de tortilla- Spanish omelet made with confit potatoes
  • Roasted carrots with macha sauce- Baby Carrots, spicy macha sauce, sour cream

I tried a good variety and enjoyed most of the offerings. My favorite was the carne asada con mojo verde, and the gambas al aijillo.

The Verdict

Overall, the Capital One Landing at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) was a great spot to grab a restaurant-quality meal before a flight. The food was solid, and the space offered a nice spot to relax. I would definitely come here again when my travels take me through Terminal B at LGA.
