@Lawrence, in this particular case I don’t recall clicking any “authorize” buttons to allow some FB app access to my profile.

With all these FB promotions, don’t you have to open up your account for them to see everything you do and your friends etc? Maybe get a second FB account just for all these dumb promotions/contests that you’ll never win anyway?
