Just confirmed with Chase Card services that you will never receive another sign on bonus if you’ve received a prior signing bonus for any of their other cards ever. That’s the new policy effect of June 30th 2025. So whether you want to transfer from a lesser car such as Chase Sapphire preferred to Chase Sapphire reserve or you want to apply for Chase Sapphire reserve separately as a new card you will never receive a sign on bonus. I told the representatives that I was a very poor policy as I was intending to change to Chase and drop by America Express Platinum Card down to an American Express gold card but now I have no intention of doing so
