Early in the week, the rumor mill was busy churning out new details about the refreshed Chase Sapphire Reserve card. As the week went by, new details started to emerge, making the picture a lot clearer.

Refreshed Chase Sapphire Reserve could be launched next week

We then got confirmation that the refreshed Chase Sapphire Reserve will be launched next week. This was prominently visible as Chase started posting ads touting a launch this summer. As the week went by, more sources got confirmation from Chase that the launch is indeed next week.

New design of the refreshed Chase Sapphire Reserve revealed!

Multiple sources have now confirmed that the card, with its new design, will be launched on June 17. The changes will go into effect starting Jun 21.

If you have the Chase Sapphire Preferred, then you can redeem Chase points at a 1.25 cents per point while redeeming with Chase Travel. Chase is now targeting certain users with some amazing offers. You can redeem Chase points up to a value of 2.2 cents per point with the Reserve. Similarly, some Preferred users are seeing offers for redeeming points up to a value of 2 cents per point!
