Update: Deal Gone! Pricing is now back to normal. You had better act fast on this one as it’s sure to be some kind of mistake. Iberia are offering business class tickets from Madrid to Santiago for €982 return, which is US$1,025!

This is a huge discount over the usual fare, and is actually cheaper than the economy class pricing on the same services. Here are all the details.

Madrid to Santiago

Flights at these prices seem to be available right through to May 2023. It seems to be an error because it is the fully flexible and fully refundable fare bucket that is cheapest.

Perhaps someone has dropped a digit from the matrix, as something sure is missing. When looking at return flights, it’s pretty much the same story. As you can see, it’s only the Iberia flights that are cheap. The oneworld alliance airline is sure to correct the issue, but for now it works and is bookable. Those that do get a ticket should expect that the airline may cancel them… but they also may not.

Overall Thoughts

Iberia are offering flights from Madrid to Santiago for a very cheap price. Anyone wishing to head over to South America from Europe would be advised to jump on this while it is available. You may also find this on flights to Sao Paulo, Lima, Montevideo and Buenos Aires, but I checked one of these and could not find it.

The Spanish airline operates the modern Airbus A350 on the route, which guarantees a pleasant and modern experience on board. I’ve never flown with them on long-haul flights before, so I can’t speak to what it is like, but they do have an all aisle access business class as you can see on the seat map here.

    1. I didn’t think it would last long. I see the pricing is now at €9,800… thanks for the kind words, I’ll keep posting them whenever I come across them. Glad another post in the past was helpful.
