Last month, we saw American Express offer limited time elevated welcome bonuses on the co-branded credit cards with Hilton. Starting this month, Amex is now offering elevated welcome bonuses on their consumer credit cards in the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio. However, the qualification criteria for a Marriott Bonvoy credit card can be quite confusing to figure out. At the moment, you can earn a welcome bonus of 185,000 points with the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant. You can refer to this post to look at whether you qualify for that bonus. Now, let’s have a look at the other welcome bonus of 155,000 points on the Marriott Bonvoy Bevy card. Here’s how you can check if you qualify. These offers expire on October 2, 2024.
155,000 POINTS WELCOME BONUS: MARRIOTT BONVOY BEVY AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD

Now, to answer the million dollar question, who qualifies and who doesn’t? Based on Amex’s terms and conditions, it’s easier to first chalk out who would not qualify for this card.

THE PUNDIT’S MANTRA
I hope this article was useful in helping you figure out the nuances when it comes to Marriott’s co-branded credit cards. In my case, I got the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant Card back in May this year when it was offering the 185,000 Marriott Bonvoy points welcome bonus. I’ve already had the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card by Chase for over 3 years and plan to keep it for another year for sure.
