The Pundit’s Mantra

While this could be a few years before it materializes, it will surely be fun to use your miles and points for a JAL flight into outer space! At the moment, you can transfer Marriott Bonvoy points to Japan Airlines JAL Mileage Bank at a ratio of 3:1. For every 60,000 points you transfer out, you get an additional bonus of 5,000 points.

Given the rapid pace of innovation, we could well see commercial space travel become a reality during our lifetimes. If that were indeed the case, would you end up redeeming your points for a trip outside Earth’s orbit? Tell us in the comments section.
