Four Seasons has officially entered the world of ultra luxury yachting with the launch of its first vessel, Four Seasons I. The yacht’s maiden voyage set sail from Malaga, Spain, on March 20, 2026, on the very same day the first Four Seasons hotel opened, exactly 65 years ago.

With this venture, Four Seasons I is aiming to reimagine modern yachting by pairing the exclusivity and freedom of a private yacht with Four Seasons’ personalized service, exceptional culinary vision, integrative wellness and curated art and design, all within an intentionally intimate, refined maritime setting.

What’s Unique About Four Seasons I?

The yacht features 95 expansive suites, all featuring generous indoor-outdoor living and no interior cabins. Also, the yacht is supported by a remarkable one-to-one guest-to-staff ratio. This enables a level of personalization and comfort rarely experienced in a seaborne setting.

The 95 suites provide 50% more living space per guest than any of their competitors. Transparent televisions offer uninterrupted views, and spacious private terraces, some with their own plunge pools, blending indoor and outdoor living.

The Funnel Suite

The Funnel Suite is 929 square meters, positioned at the forward-facing prow, with three bedrooms, a splash pool, an outdoor gym, and a private lift. Its towering floor-to-ceiling wraparound windows are made up of the largest contiguous piece of glass at sea, offering stunning 280-degree panoramic views.

Dining Options

The flagship restaurant Sedna will host a rotating roster of culinary stars from Four Seasons’ most celebrated properties, including Christian Le Squer of Le Cinq at the George V in Paris, Guillaume Galliot of Caprice in Hong Kong and Paolo Lavezzini of Il Palagio in Florence.

In addition to the main restaurant, there are other dining options and lounges, including an omakase experience, a dedicated champagne and caviar terrace and relaxed Mediterranean-influenced dining, making it a total of 11 restaurants and bars on the yacht.

Swimming Pool

The mid-century-inspired 66-foot pool transforms into an open-air dance floor in the evenings. The pool area also features the marina, a built-in platform that opens directly onto the water for swimming and water sports.

Where Is Four Seasons I Sailing?

For its inaugural season, Four Seasons I will sail in the Mediterranean to destinations like St. Tropez, Bodrum, Montenegro, the Greek Isles and the Croatian coast. In its debut year, the yacht will feature 32 voyages, exploring more than 30 countries and territories, including the Mediterranean in summer and the Caribbean and Bahamas in winter.

The 2027-28 Caribbean season expands significantly, with 18 curated voyages and 18 new destinations added, with Costa Rica emerging as a headline introduction, including stops at Marina Papagayo and Bahía Golfito, with select January and February sailings timed to coincide with humpback whale migration along the Pacific coast.

The Pundit’s Mantra

Four Seasons will unveil the second yacht in its fleet in 2027, joining a growing list of luxury hospitality brands embracing yachting, including Ritz-Carlton, Aman, Orient Express, and Waldorf Astoria. The ultra luxury yachting space seems be just getting started, with more competitors entering the fray.
