Alaska Airlines Reveals New Award Chart –  Miles to Memories

The “starting from” language is troubling. I predict that this is the beginning of the end for Alaska Mileage Plan as we know it. Across the board, the new award charts for oneworld carriers have been much worse than the legacy partners. I don’t expect the old “sweet spot” prices to hang around.

Southwest offering reimbursement for “reasonable” expenses – Frequent Miler

It seems to be at Southwest’s discretion what they will honor. Hopefully they do right by their many affected customers.
