Over the last few weeks, American Express has been running limited time welcome bonuses on all of their co-branded Hilton credit card products. Today is the final day for these offers as they’re set to expire.

Hilton Credit Card Offers

American Express has 4 cards in their co-branded credit card portfolio with Hilton, featuring 3 consumer credit cards and one business credit card.

Thanks to Hilton Diamond status, we got an upgrade to an overwater villa at the Conrad Maldives

The Hilton Aspire card is a great option for people who frequently stay at Hilton properties multiple times a year. The card automatically gives you top tier Diamond status. While it carries an annual fee of $550, you get $600 in credits each year, in addition to one free night for simply renewing the card.

Currently, you can earn a welcome bonus of 175,000 Hilton Honors points. You’ll earn the welcome bonus after you spend $6,000 in the first 6 months of card membership. Moreover, you’ll earn 1 free night as soon as you’re approved for the card, in addition to the free night you’ll receive after you renew it each year.

Amex recently axed some key benefits of this card, by taking away the opportunity to earn a free night after meeting $15,000 spend in a calendar year. However, this card may be suitable for you if you’re simply looking to earn some points, stay at a Hilton property at least once each quarter and earn a flat 5x on all purchases.

The Pundit’s Mantra

In my opinion, I still find the Hilton Aspire card to be the best option on the table. However, if you don’t stay as frequently at Hilton properties, then the Hilton Surpass card may just be the best option for you.
