The Egyptair Gienah lounge at Cairo Airport is located near the G gates in the terminal. I used the facility prior to my flight to Addis Ababa on Ethiopian Airlines.
After spending some time at the other lounge, I headed over to this lounge. This was closer to gate G2 where my flight was departing from, and in the early hours of the morning it was fairly busy.
Gienah lounge food and drink
When I arrived, I took a seat and then scoped out the food situation. There was quite a good spread on offer, as you can see from the pictures below. The little filled desserts were quite delicious.
Coffee Service
When I sat down, a friendly staff member offered to get me a coffee and I accepted. I’m pleased to report that it was really very good, and I would certainly have it again. He also proactively brought me a water with it.
Overall Thoughts
Egyptair’s Gineah lounge in Cairo is functional, with an array of food options. There are plenty of seats in separate areas but really it’s best if you check out another review to see it. There were a lot of people there, which meant I couldn’t really take more pictures.
