Last month, Marriott ran a promotion that let Bonvoy members earn 50,000 bonus points after they spent $2,500 with Marriott Homes and Villas, Marriott’s vacation rental platform. This month, Marriott is running another promotion for members who book vacation rentals with Homes & Villas. This month’s promotion is arguably better than last month’s with Bonvoy members earning 5x points on all stays with Homes & Villas through the end of March 2025.

Members must book stays by June 26th to earn 5x points but have until next March to complete any stays. Here are the details of Marriott’s latest Homes & Villas promotion.

Earn 5x Points on Marriott Homes and Villas Stays

June’s Homes and Villas promotion is pretty straightforward. Members must first register to take advantage of this promotion. Once registered, Bonvoy members will earn 5x points on all stays of 5 or more consecutive nights booked before the end of the day on June 26th. For a booking to be eligible for 5x points, it has to conclude by March 31st. This means members have 10 months to earn 5x points.

5x Points Promotion Terms & Conditions

  • Members must register for this promotion before booking any stays
  • Bookings must be made by June 26, 2024
  • Eligible bookings are 5 or more consecutive nights
  • Stays must be completed by March 31, 2025

How Are 5x Points Earned with This Promotion?

5x points are earned only on the base rate. That is, if you have elite status with Marriott Bonvoy, you won’t earn 5x points on your elite bonus. All members, regardless of status, will only earn 5x points on the base rate. The base rate on stays with Marriott Homes & Villas is 5 points per dollar spent. So, with this promotion, you will earn 10 points per dollar spent plus any bonuses from status or Marriott credit cards.

One thing to note, points are only awarded on qualifying charges. So, you won’t earn points on cleaning fees, deposits, or taxes. You will only earn points on the nightly rate.

You can learn more about earning points with Marriott Homes and Villas in our full guide to Marriott’s vacation rental platform.

  • Total Points Earned: $1692 x 10 = 16,920

  • Total for Stay: $2085.15
  • Total Points Earned: $2085.15 x 10 = 20,852

Keep in mind, that you will earn additional points on top of the 5x points on the base rate if you have Bonvoy elite status or use a Marriott co-branded credit card.

The Bottom Line

You still have about 2 weeks left to earn 5x bonus points when you book through Homes & Villas by Mariott Bonvoy. You will only earn 5x on the base rate, however, you will still earn bonus points if you have status or use a Marriott co-branded credit card. It’s important to remember that, to earn 5x points, you must book 5 or more consecutive nights for a stay to qualify. Luckily, you have time to complete any stays as stays have to be completed by March 31, 2025.
