Delta Operates 100 Percent of Its Flights in September

This morning, Delta Air Lines issued its monthly financial and operating performance report. It’s a typical press release with some mundane financial information. What caught my eye?

It’s rare enough for an airline to operate its entire published schedule for a couple of days. But that is a 100 percent completion factor for the entire month of September. As the resident ops guy here at Boadingarea, all I can say is that’s really something.

Even more amazing is there was not one cut to SkyMiles in September. For Delta to go one month without cutting the loyalty program is even MORE amazing that 100% completion!
