Delta Forced to Cancel New Africa Flights by TSA

In what has to be a real disappointment for Delta Air Lines, the TSA has forced it to cancel a new flight to Nairobi, Kenya scheduled to start today.  Read the AP article here.  Delta was also forced to cancel plans to fly to Monrovia, Liberia beginning June 8th.

While I know very little about the security situation in Nairobi, I do know that this has got to be very costly to Delta.  I wonder what kind of lobbying effort Delta had rolled out on this?
