As a frequent flyer, you know just how important it is to have a pair of noise-canceling headphones at the ready. There’s no better solution to drowning out the sound of chatty passengers and crying babies than noise-canceling headphones.

While the Bose QuietComfort series still reigns supreme for most travelers, the Beats line of headphones and earbuds is a solid and slightly more cost-effective alternative. Now, for a limited time, you can get a pair of Beats Studio Pro Wireless Bluetooth Noise Canceling Headphones for 49% 51% off. You can also score a pair of Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones for 43% off — also under $200.

For a limited time, Beats Studio Pro headphones are available for under $200. Here’s what you need to know about the headphones and how to score this deal.

Update 11/10/2024: This deal is back with even deeper discounts including a better deal on Bose noise-canceling headphones.

Beats Noise Canceling Headphones up to 51% Off, Bose up to 43% Off

I will be the first to admit that I am all in on Apple’s AirPod Pros. I have phased out over-the-ear headphones for some years now. However, I know there are still a number of travelers who prefer these styles of headphones.

The price points and features of noise-canceling headphones vary considerably. A good pair of noise-canceling headphones that will hold their charge for even the longest flights can be quite pricey. For example, the flagship Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones are $349 while Apple’s AirPods Max are a whopping $499. Luckily, there is an alternative.

The Beats line of headphones is a considerably less expensive option for travelers looking for noise-canceling headphones. That is unless they are looking at Beats’ flagship model: the Studio Pro. Beats Studio Pro headphones retail for $349, the same as Bose QuietComfort Ultra. But, the Beats Studio Pro comes with some pretty impressive specs. Additionally, as you already know, you can score a pair of these headphones for just $169.99 for a limited time.

Key Specs of the Beats Studio Pro:

  • Spatial Audio – also found in Apple’s AirPod Pro and Max headphones
  • USC-C Lossless Audio
  • Up to 40 Hours of Battery Life (with active noise canceling turned off)
  • Compatible with Bluetooth devices
  • Fast Charging: 10 minutes provides 4 hours of playback

On paper, these specs rival the Bose QuietComfort headphones and are comparable to the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones. If you’re still looking for a pair of the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones, you can score a pair for 23% off or $329, originally $429. If that’s a bit on the pricey side, you can also score the QuietComforts for $229 (34% off). However, that’s still quite a bit more than the current deal on Beats’ flagship Studio Pros.

How To Score This Deal

It’s not clear just how long these Beats and Bose noise-canceling headphones will be available at such a steep discount. This is likely the start of holiday deals so, we will likely see these discounts through Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Beats Studio Pro Noise Canceling Headphones 51% Off on Amazon

You can score this deal on Amazon. If you’re an Amazon Prime member this also means you can get them delivered in a matter of hours. Amazon still has the full range of colors available as well.

At Best Buy

If you want to shop in-store or just prefer to buy from Best Buy, you can score this deal via the tech retailer. However, you will have to wait a while if you buy online with estimated delivery in 4 to 8 days.

Make sure to check out your preferred airline’s shopping portal before purchasing headphones or other products on Best Buy’s website. At the moment, it looks as if most shopping portals are only offering 1 point/mile per $1 spent with the retailer.

Purchase Direct from Apple or Beats by Dr. Dre

You can also purchase the Beats Studio Pros directly from Apple or the official Beats by Dr. Dre website. If you have an Apple Card, you might want to buy from Apple as you will earn 3% Daily Cash Back when making purchases with Apple. Though pretty insignificant, you will be paying 4 cents more than if you bought these headphones from Amazon or Best Buy.

Additional Beats Audio Products on Sale

While the most significant discount is on the Beats Studio Pro over-the-ear noise-canceling headphones, there are a few additional Beats earbuds and headphones on sale. These include:

  • Beats Solo3 (no noise canceling functionality) – 50% Off – $99.00 – View Deal
  • Beats Studio Buds (with noise canceling functionality) – 33% Off – $99.95 – View Deal
  • Beats Solo 4 (no noise canceling functionality) – 35% Off – $129.95 – View Deal

Additional Bose Products on Sale

  • Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Earbuds, Noise Cancelling Earbuds – 23% Off – $229.00 – View Deal
  • Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar, Surround Sound System – 20% Off – $719.00 – View Deal

The Bottom Line

Noise-canceling headphones are a must-have for any frequent flyer. While the Bose QuietComfort series remains a top choice, the Beats Studio Pro is a strong alternative, especially with the current 51% off deal. This time around, you can also score some of the top Bose headphones for up to 43% off. You can score this deal on Amazon, at major retailers, and direct from Apple/Beats by Dr. Dre. It’s not clear just how long these headphones will be marked down so, you might want to act fast.
