US Airways is celebrating its increased service in and out of DC’s Reagan National Airport (DCA) by offering double redeemable miles on flights into or out of (not connecting through) National Airport. No registration is required but apparently you must book between July 7, 2012 and August 5, 2012 for travel from July 7 – September 30, 2012.
The terms and conditions are “Customers must book July 7 – August 5 for travel July 7 – September 30, 2012 to earn double miles on itineraries starting or ending at Reagan National Airport (DCA). Customers with itineraries connecting through Reagan National Airport (DCA) are not eligible for bonus miles. Any itinerary with a Reagan National Airport (DCA) arrival followed by a Reagan National Airport (DCA) departure the same day is considered a connection. Miles do not count toward Preferred status. US Airways will award miles one to two weeks after travel has been completed. All Dividend Miles terms and conditions apply.”
I have 2 flights booked during the promo period, but they’ve been booked for weeks. No bonus miles for me unless I need to book something else.
Hat tip – Gary.
Since these are bonus Dividend Miles, I don’t see how crediting to another carrier will result in the bonus.
Very stupid question, but if I am crediting US flights to A3 or another *A carrier, do you think the double miles will show up? Flying into and out of DCA.
