Old news, but I felt like talking about it. Continental Airlines will soon be joining the Star Alliance, and this week, they along with several other Star carriers including United received preliminary approval from the Department of Transportation for Anti Trust Immunity. I think this is good for Star and good for Continetal. Continental is a good airline which offers a solid product with consistent service. Maybe some of that will rub off on United.
