Last year, Chase refreshed the Chase Sapphire Reserve by adding a lot of new benefits, but also increasing the fee to $795. In addition to refreshing the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase also launched a brand new premium business credit card, the Chase Sapphire Reserve for business. While Chase has added new restrictions to their Sapphire cards after the refresh, you can still get these higher than usual welcome bonus on the Chase Sapphire Reserve cards, if you’re eligible. Initially, we thought that these bonuses would go away in a few months time. However, it’s 2026 and these bonuses seem to be sticking around longer.

Chase Sapphire Reserve: 125,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points offer

With this offer on the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, you’ll earn a welcome bonus of 125,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points. You’ll earn the welcome bonus once you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months of card membership. The annual fee for the card is $795. You’ll pay an extra $195 for every new authorized user.

However, bear in mind that Chase’s restrictions do apply. Every now and then Chase may target you with offers that may help you bypass these restrictions.

“This credit card is unavailable to you if you currently have one open. The new cardmember bonus may not be available to you if you currently have any other personal Sapphire cards open, previously held this card or received a new cardmember bonus for this card. We may also consider the number of cards you have opened and closed, as well as other factors in determining your bonus eligibility.”

Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business: 200,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points offer

The Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business card is currently offering a welcome bonus of 200,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points. While the spend requirement is high, the welcome bonus more than pays for it in the first year and more. You’ll need to spend $30,000 in the first 6 months of card membership in order to earn the welcome bonus. The annual fee for the card is $795.

The Pundit’s Mantra

If you’re eligible, then these offers are fantastic. In my opinion, if you have business spend lined up anyway, then it’s an easy decision to with the Sapphire Reserve for Business. The 200,000 points welcome bonus is just too big to ignore and spending $5,000 per month should be pretty easy for businesses to meet.

On the contrary, if you’re looking to get get personal Sapphire Reserve, then the 125,000 points is a good start for a card that charges an annual fee of $795. The bonus more than pays for the annual fee for the first year. Moreover, you also get to try the benefits on the card for all of 2026 and a January 2027. Some people are seeing targeted offers that are as high as 175,000 points.
