Just yesterday, I wrote this post about the upcoming devaluation of a key transfer partner in the American Express Membership Rewards points ecosystem. However, I logged into my Chase account today and found out that a brand new transfer has now been added by Chase.
New Chase Points Transfer Partner
Transferable points currencies continue to be popular amongst many in the miles and points space. They give you a lot of options when it comes to redemptions. On on hand, you can redeem them for a statement credit or book travel directly via the bank’s portal. On the other hand, you can also transfer points to their airline and hotel loyalty program partners.
Chase, over the years, has kept enhancing their Ultimate Rewards points program by making changes. For example, in 2021, they added Air Canada Aeroplan as a brand new transfer partner. Also, most recently, they removed Emirates Skywards as a transfer partners. Over the years, Chase key USP while marketing their Ultimate Rewards points ecosystem has been the ability to transfer points to partners at a simple 1:1 ratio across the board. This simplifies the program for many people as there’s a standard ratio across the board. Chase often sweetens the deal by offering points transfer bonuses, like the ones they’re offering right now.
Wyndham Rewards
You can now convert your Chase Ultimate Rewards points into Wyndham Rewards points at a 1:1 ratio. As per the terms and conditions, the points transfer usually completes by the next business day, but in some cases, can take up to seven business days.
Most point transfers process by the next business day but may take up to 7 business days.

Before you transfer your points, you’ll need to link your Wyndham Rewards account.

This points transfer is already live and should show up once you log into your Chase accounts and head over to the Ultimate Rewards points section and click on ‘transfer points to partners.
The Pundit’s Mantra
Over the last 10+ years, I’ve primarily used my Chase points to transfer to World of Hyatt for some really memorable redemptions at Hyatt properties all over the world. Every now and then, I also transfer to Marriott Bonvoy and Air Canada Aeroplan, whenever Chase runs a transfer bonus and how the transfer bonuses align with my travel plans.
This new transfer partner doesn’t move the needle for me by much, as I already use my Chase points to redeem with other partners in their ecosystem.
Are you planning to transfer points to Wyndham right away? If yes, how do you plan to redeem your points with this new partner? Tell us in the comments section.

Marriott Bonvoy
Hard pass. I have 250k Wyndham rewards that were refunded due to canceled vacasa booking. Trying to find a use for them as I’m Globalist. May force my wife to use them while she travels as she’s not as picky
While a new transfer partner is always a welcome, I can’t think of why I would transfer on a 1:1 basis to Wyndham, when Hyatt transfers are also 1:1.
