British Airways launches Gatwick amenity kits, specific to their long-haul routes out of London’s second business airport. The limited-edition amenity kits for their Club World differentiate the experience for customers departing from London Gatwick Airport. The initiative, which started October 26, 2025, features four collectible pouch designs. London-based art platform Rise Art participated in the design. Kit contents are from wellness apothecary brand anatomē.

Amenity Kit Contents
The kits include a 10-ml hydrating moisturizer and a 3-ml botanical multi-balm developed by anatomē, infused with ingredients such as aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, organic shea butter, rosemary oil and vitamin E. Other items include ear-plugs, a dental kit with bamboo toothbrush, an eye mask, socks made from recycled polyester, and a pouch made of fully recycled fabric. The packaging inside the kits emphasize sustainability. Some examples: recyclable aluminum for the skincare, paper-wrapped dental kit/ear-plugs, and the substitution of single-use plastic expected to cut 26.5 tons annually. Four artists from Rise Art: Amelia Coward, Charlotte Roseberry, Kit Boyd and Naomi Edmondson provide the unique artwork printed on each collectable pouch.

British Airways Gatwick Growth
Although Gatwick’s main focus is European leisure routes, BA serves a mix of long-haul flights as well. British Airways continues to expand Club World service from LGW. Club Suites are being added to the Gatwick based 777s. Some of their long-haul destinations served exclusively out of Gatwick include Antigua, Cancún, Las Vegas, and Mauritius. The Gatwick-specific amenity kit rollout is an effort to improve premium services on its secondary London airport base. With some of their customer-unfriendly changes that have happened over the past few years, this is a small but positive change.

Final Thoughts
This is s a sensible move by British Airways. Having a Gatwick-specific amenity kit makes the Gatwick experience feel unique versus the experience at Heathrow. As Gatwick is more leisure-oriented, the new amenity kit seems less exciting than the Heathrow kit. With BA having made a number of negative customer experience cuts over the past few years, making even a small pivot that improves the experience is a positive step. The collectible kits make are a fun twist to flying out of Gatwick.
